Dr Blake started making Liposomal Vitamin C a number of years ago. First simply for his family, then it extended to his local Gold Coast community. First it was for free, then slowly the numbers increased and we they are selling. And selling lots!

That is how his passion was born.

Dr Blake has been fascinated by the benefits of liposomal Vitamin c for years and spent many nights researching and experimenting with different formulations and ingredients. He read the work of the “Father of Vitamin C" Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling and every research paper and book he could lay his hands on. He learnt that ordinary vitamins c gets absorbed between 13-18 % in the gut which restricts dosage. On the other hand, Liposomal vitamins C gets absorbed in the intestine at a rate of between 90-93%. He also realised that most of us have low level scurvy and Vitamin C deficiency.

For making Liposomal Vitamin C, he started of with a small device and an internet recipe but soon he started experimenting and including different lecithin options, Camu Camu, Elderberry, Rosehip and a range of other ingredients. For clients with cancer he created a product which was ph neutral that included magnesium ascorbate.

They were operating this as a hobby until the Corona Virus Pandemic hit Australia and people were wildly trying to source bulk Liposomal Vitamin C. Dr Blake managed to secure the bulk supply ingredients for the basic formula and he already had purchased commercial machinery to make bulk.

Liposomal absorption is quite different from intestinal absorption. With intestinal absorption: In order for your food and nutrients to be used, they first have to be broken down by your digestive system. Once they are broken down to smaller fragments, your body can then absorb them. Finally, these nutrients enter your bloodstream and your body is able to utilise them.

But with liposomal technology: The tiny particles of the phospholipid-coated nutrient create molecules of vitamin C coated with a substance similar to the cell walls themselves.
